This fundraiser is held in loving memory of Marie, my mom and my best friend. Marie lost her battle to oral cancer at 57 years old, and her strength throughout her journey continues to inspire everyone who knew her.

Marie was a devoted mother, daughter, and friend — a true warrior. She was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone — the first to show up, the last to give up, always offering a warm hug, a helping hand, or kind words. Her love was steady, unconditional, and constant.

We are hosting this fundraiser to raise awareness for oral cancer, a disease that is often not detected until it’s too far advanced. Early detection can save lives. If sharing Marie’s story helps even one person catch it sooner, then her strength continues to shine.
